get from friends, customers and complete strangers. It's why we created the
Orvis Endorsed Breeder and Trainer Program— to take the anxiety out of your
search for a bird dog and to make it easy for you. Your anxiety is well placed, too; after
all, you're about to choose your companion for some of the most special times

years. Most breeders are hobbyists. They breed three or four litters over one
or two generations out of well-placed love for a great animal. However, there are a number of breeders who

variation in a breed and who breed for certain characteristics over many
generations. I think we've picked the best and the most reliable of these
