Field Training for flushing, retrieving,
and pointing breeds
Training Package Includes:
- Obedience Training, Hup
(Sit), Come, Heel, Down
- Quartering Within Gun Range
- Retrieving Back to Hand
- Finding, Flushing or Pointing, & Retrieving Birds
- Birds Used Will be Pheasants, Ducks, Chukkars, or Pigeons
- Natural Ability of the Dog is Brought Out
- Evaluation of the Dog within Ten Days
- Socialization of the Dog
- Correction of Problems
- Steady to Flush and Shot Depending on the Dog
- Upland and Water Work (when season allows)
Your dog will stay at Pine Shadows in our modern, clean kennel facility. You, as the owner, will be taught to handle the
dog, continue on with the training and learn to read your dog in individual
sessions.
The price includes all of
the following items:
- Dog Boarding
- Food (same as what you have been feeding)
- Five field sessions per week (including birds)
- Daily obedience sessions
- Exercise walks (four per day)
- Birds used for training
- Shotgun shells
Expectations for One Month
of Training:
- Hunting within Gun Range
- Trailing out Cripples
- Obedient to Commands
- Retrieving to Hand
- Call Back off of Missed Birds
- Upland and Water Work (when season allows)
