Puppies
from the Zell x Wallace litter will be solid, stocky pups with a square type build,
well muscled and proportionate throughout their structures. They will possess
the easy going demeanor of both parents, the soft eyes of attentiveness and a
pleasing personality. These pups will be liver and white and will be medium to
large Springers as adults. The ease of training, the exceptional nose and the
alertness to work will be evident in their personalities. We expect this
breeding to be very stable, easy to handle and a pleasure to hunt over and live
inside a home with you.
Zell is an average size female, liver
and white in color and weighs about 36 pounds. She is a great retriever, hunts
close and is easy to handle in the field. She is a mild-mannered, soft dog
around the house and kennel, yet hunts hard in the field and goes through cover
well. She likes to check in while hunting and is content to be close while
questing. She hunts corn fields extremely well and uses her nose for finding
birds and trailing cripples. She has trained up quickly and took to the
training with style and enthusiasm. She is a very clean dog and well mannered.
Toast is a big liver and white male. He weighs about 48 pounds and has a
strong well structured head and shoulders with powerful legs. He is a very easy
dog to control in the field, has a very good nose and is comfortable dog to
hunt over. He is very attentive, likes to work with you and is powerful in the
field. He also is a very clean dog and mellow in and around the house.
